TWO ROOMS Returns on April 2, 2025 — An Extraordinary New Destination for Worldly Adults

TWO ROOMS, known as one of Tokyo’s premier international social destinations, has reopened on April 2nd, 2025. This seasonal fusion restaurant, which has been open since 2009, stimulates the five senses with new changes to its interior design, cuisine, music, and art. Seamlessly transitioning from a vibrant daytime atmosphere into an exciting nightlife scene, the new space will give guests a new experience every visit.

Innovative Fusion Cuisine

The cuisine, crafted by Chef Matthew Crabbe and his team, maintains a style of simplicity while using fresh seasonal ingredients. The new menu integrates global cuisines from
different countries, while preserving the uniqueness of traditional Japanese foods. TWO ROOMS transports you around the world with its innovative new fusions, such as the Nori Wrap, which features premium wagyu tartare, sea urchin, and caviar—or an oyster dish with a Japanese flavor of finger lime Ikura ponzu. The new menu also expands the array of smaller dishes, ensuring each guest can try a more diverse range of flavors. In addition, long-loved dishes such as the TWO ROOMS Caesar salad, Crab Cake Balls & Black Garlic Aioli, and the 80% Chocolate Tart Leatherwood Honey Icecream, will continue to feature on the menu.

Two Distinct Dining Spaces

The new space has once again been designed by Eight Inc, a San Francisco-based firm who also designed the initial space. The new concept features beautiful views on a terrace, as well as large windows, which integrates with Tokyo’s city skyline beautifully.

Using soft colors such as light sand, camel, and hunter green, combined with natural materials such as granite, brass, and leather, the new space utilizes these colors in combination with the natural light to seamlessly transition from a bright daytime to a bustling nightlife. The 50,000 years old New Zealand Swamp Kauri bar counter remains in the heart of the restaurant, representing TWO ROOMS’ connection with the future and the past of the culinary arts.

Depending on the occasion, there are two spaces to experience: “Atelier 246”, which features a more elegant and sophisticated design, or the “Vista Lounge”, offering the guest a more modern space.

The Private Dining Room

In collaboration with Thom O’Brien (Bona Capello), the new Private Dining Room features an art installation representing different hat cultures from British bowler hats to South American Panama hats, integrating Omotesando’s fashion culture into the restaurant.

The private dining room behind the walk-in wine cellar in the Vista Lounge has been transformed into a new space utilizing creativity, fashion, and craftmanship to create a unique dining experience. Overlooking Aoyama-dori, this private room represents the style and sophistication that TWO ROOMS has cultivated for 16 years.

A Bold New Tokyo Dining Experience

Just like the cuisine served, TWO ROOMS takes inspiration from other international entertainment dining experiences in cities such as New York, London, and Dubai to create an innovative new style of environment and cuisine that will sublimate Tokyo’s dining scene.

DJ booths, which were previously only available in the Vista Lounge (bar area), are now located on both sides of the building. Modern music equipment as well as a stage has been built in, incorporating the theme of Omotesando’s bustling fashion and art scene. During dinner, jazz performances will be held from 8pm, and then after 10pm, world-class DJ performances will be held.

New lightning additions have also been installed to match the performances, which will provide an immersive entertainment experience. TWO ROOMS will be transformed into a modern “entertainment dining experience” that preserves the best parts of its original style while providing new experiences to both regulars and new visitors alike.
