The largest ever “BANKSY Exhibition” available for the first time in Japan! Tickets available from the 30th of January 2020!

“Banksy Exhibition ~GENIUS OR VANDAL?” is an exhibition that has already been staged all over the world in places such as Moscow, Madrid, Lisbon and Hong Kong since 2018, gathering over 1 million people to see it. “Banksy Exhibition, Genius or Vandal?” will be held from March 15th (Sunday) to September 27th (Sunday) at Asobuild, an experience-based entertainment complex directly connected to Yokohama Station.

Banksy, one of the world’s most sought-after artists, continues to send a strong message regarding social issues with graffiti art and street art. This exhibition will feature more than 70 original works, prints and three-dimensional objects for the largest ever exhibition in Yokohama.

Well known original works revered by collectors worldwide will be displayed, including “Love is in the air” a message of peace known to many people in Japan, “Girl with a Balloon” which spreads a message of hope and the “Rat” series, a social commentary of the weak overlapped with rats. In addition to graffiti, viewers are invited to immerse themselves in the world of Banksy with a collection of art that can only be found here.

Tickets for this exhibition will be available worldwide from the official website at 6pm on Thursday the 30th of January 2020. Special early bird tickets will be available in February.
